in their countries, so called Unlicensed Medicines.
This business is based
on the principle "patient first", and is often
referred to as “name patient” or
“compassionate use” programs.
Unmet Medical Need
There are several reasons why a medicine is not available to a patient in a country, including medicines:
- In a clinical trial "Early Access"
- Not commercially available, globally or in your country
- Unavailable due to medicine shortages
- Withdrawn from the market
